Question 939063
If a diagram shows a 30-60-90 triangle with a square on each side. The side opposite to the 30 angle is 10 units and the side opposite to the 60 angle is 10 *the square root of 3. Using the areas of the squares to show that the squares on each side of the triangle satisfy the pythagorean relationship A squared+B squared=C squared what is c squared
-----
C^2 = 10^2 + (10sqrt(3))^2 = 100 + 300 = 400
----
C = sqrt(400) = 20
