Question 938601
If you solve for y, you get {{{y = root(3,x^2)}}} and this is definitely a function because each input produces EXACTLY ONE output.

Visually, the graph of {{{y = root(3,x^2)}}} passes the vertical line test. So it is a function.

{{{ drawing(500, 500, -10, 10, -10, 10,graph( 500, 500, -10, 10, -10, 10,0,(x^(2/3)),(-x)^(2/3)))}}}

Side Note: the two pieces that are different colors are actually the same graph. I had no other choice but to graph it in two pieces like this.
