Question 938288

17=13.46(1.03)^t

Show work and explain please :) I really don't understand how to solve this problem!
<pre><font face = "Tohoma" size = 4 color = "indigo"><b>{{{17 = 13.46(1.03)^t}}}
{{{17/13.46 = 1.03^t}}} ------------ Exponential form
{{{log (1.03, (17/13.46)) = t}}} ------ Logarithmic form
{{{t = log (17/13.46)/log 1.03}}} ------------- Applying change of base
{{{t = 7.899204}}} &#8776; {{{highlight_green(t = 7.9)}}}
You can do the check!!
