Question 79610
The given expression is:

{{{ 10p^2 - pq - 3q^2 }}} = (5p - 3q)(?)

Here the question mark indicates we are supposed to fill in the other term which when multiplied gives the term on the left hand side.

So inorder to fill in that term, we faactorize the term which is given on the left hand side.

The factorization goes this way.

{{{ 10p^2 - pq - 3q^2 }}}

==> {{{ 10p^2 - 6pq -  5pq - 3q^2 }}}

==> {{{ 2p(5p  - 3q) - 1q(5p - 3q)}}}

Taking out the common terms, we get:

==> (2p - q)(5p - 3q)

Comparing these two terms with the right hans terms, we find that there is only term present that is(5p - 3q) and the term that is missing is: (2p - q)

Hence, in place of the question mark, just write the term (2p - q)

Thus, the solution.
