How do I simplify the following expression, with my answer having positive exponents?
9^-1 9^1/2
<pre><font face = "Tohoma" size = 4 color = "indigo"><b>If 9<sup>(-1)</sup> * 9<sup>1/2</sup>, then we get: 9<sup>(-1 + 1/2)</sup>______9<sup>-1/2</sup>_____{{{1/9^(1/2)}}}, or {{{1/sqrt(9)}}}, or {{{highlight_green(1/3)}}}
