Question 936092
Solve the logarithmic equation: log2 4+log2 x=6
I got x=2, is this correct?
<pre><font face = "Tohoma" size = 4 color = "indigo"><b>log2 4 + log2 x = 6
log2 4x = 6
4x = 2<sup>6</sup>
4x = 64
{{{x = 64/4}}}, or {{{highlight_green(16)}}}
OR
log2 4 + log2 x = 6
log2 22 + log2 x = 6
2 + log2 x = 6
log2 x = 6 - 2
log2 x = 4
x = 2<sup>4</sup>
{{{highlight_green(x =  16)}}}
You can do the check!!
You should be able to determine if you're correct, or incorrect, I'm sure!!
