on a number line, you denote the end points with circles. These can be either a ring or a solid circle. One denotes that the point is part of the range ie <= or >=. The other version denotes that the end-point is not part of the range.


I cannot remember which way round they are. You should have notes on this, i assume. Have a look, then draw a number line, mark on number from say -5 through zero to +4.


Draw another line, denoting the possible values of x, starting at -4 and ending at +3. One end will be a "full" circle and the other end will be an open circle: because one of the inequalities is just "<" whilst the other is a "<=". I cannot remember which end is which.
