Question 935224
I thought I had this but none of the multiple choice answers match my understanding of y=mx+b so appreciate any help! I thought it should be y=2x+3....

The equation of the line passing through the points (0,3) and (2,7) may be written as:

2x-y = 3
x-2y = 3
x+2y = -3
y-2x = 3
none of the above
<pre>
Your equation is correct!! Good job!!

The reason you don't see it is because your answer, {{{y = 2x + 3}}} is in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b),
but the 4th choice, y - 2x = 3 is in some other form, but when you add 2x to both sides, you find
that the 4th choice is actually: {{{highlight_green(y = 2x + 3)}}}, your CORRECT answer.
