Question 935101
the target value of the coefficient of the isolated variable is 1, this is so we can substitute for the isolated variable in the other equation. For example,
1)2x + 3y = 15
2)6x + 7y = 35
chose equation 1 and solve for target variable x and we get
x = (-3y/2) +(15/2)
we can then substitute for x in equation 2 and solve for y and then x
