A take-and-bake pizza store offers three sizes of circular pizzas: small (10 diameter), medium (12 diameter), and large (16 diameter).A special combination pizza comes “with everything” and costs $10.99 for a small, $12.75 for a medium, and $15.25 for a large.Which pizza is the best buy? Justify your response.
<pre>
Area of small (10-unit diameter) pizza: pi*r^2, or pi*5^2, or 78.53982 sq units
Area of medium (12-unit diameter) pizza: pi*r^2, or pi*6^2, or 113.0973 sq units
Area of large (16-unit diameter) pizza: pi*r^2, or pi*8^2, or 201.0619 sq units

Cost, per square unit of small (10-unit diameter) pizza: 10.99/78.53982, or .139929 &#8776; $0.13
Cost, per square unit of medium (12-unit diameter) pizza: 12.75/113.0973, or .112735 &#8776; $0.11
Cost, per square unit of large (16-unit diameter) pizza: 15.25/201.0619, or .075847 &#8776; $0.08

As seen, the large pizza is the best buy, at ${{{highlight_green(0.08)}}} per square unit, followed by the medium pizza,
at $0.11 per square unit, and finally, the small pizza - the worst buy - at $0.13 per square unit
