 {{{T(-3)=3(-3)^4-(-3)^2 + 4}}}............{{{(-3)^4=(-3)(-3)(-3)(-3)=9
*9=81

 {{{T(-3)=3*81-9 + 4}}}

{{{T(-3)=243+ 4-9 }}}

{{{T(-3)=247-9 }}}

{{{T(-3)=238 }}}


What is the T(x)? It is just symbol for a function (a functional symbol), you can name it how do you want.

T(x), or P(x), or f(x), or g(x), are used to name a functions, all are same as {{{y}}}; recall {{{y=ax^2+bx+c}}}

you can use any functional symbol from above:

so, {{{y=ax^2+bx+c}}} is same as {{{f(x)=ax^2+bx+c}}},{{{T(x)=ax^2+bx+c}}}, {{{P(x)=ax^2+bx+c}}}, or {{{g(x)=ax^2+bx+c}}}
