Question 922757
15x to the power of 5 y to the power of 15 m to the power of 6 y divided by
5x to the power of 2 y to the power of 20 m to the power of 12 and m to the
power of 4.

I hope this is what you meant. There could have been some parentheses that
you meant. But I think you meant this:

{{{(15x^5y^15m^6)/(5x^2y^20m^12m^4)}}}

First divide top and bottom by 5

{{{(3x^5y^15m^6)/(x^2y^20m^12m^4)}}}

Add the exponents of m on the bottom, 12+4 = 16

{{{(3x^5y^15m^6)/(x^2y^20m^16)}}}:

Subtract the exponents of x, larger minus smaller, 5-2=3.
Since the larger exponent 5 is on top, place x³ on top,
and eliminate x on the bottom.

{{{(3x^3y^15m^6)/(y^20m^16)}}}

Subtract the exponents of y, larger minus smaller, 20-15=5.
Since the larger exponent 20 is on the bottom, place y5 on the
bottom, and eliminate y on the top.

{{{(3x^3m^6)/(y^5m^16)}}}

Subtract the exponents of m, larger minus smaller, 16-6=10.
Since the larger exponent 16 is on the bottom, place m10 on the
bottom, and eliminate m on the top.

{{{(3x^3)/(y^5m^10)}}}

That's all we can do. I broke it all the way down to show you, but you
can do all those steps together.
