You would graph {{{y = -x^2+3 }}} using a graphing calculator to get 


{{{ graph( 500, 500, -10, 10, -10, 10, 0,-x^2+3) }}}


That graph is the boundary line and it should be a dashed line (I don't know how to do that on here). It is dashed due to the " < " sign. We are NOT including the boundary.


The "less than" sign then tells you to shade below the boundary line.


So to finish up, simply shade the region beneath the parabola

The shaded region is shown in blue. Be sure to include the dashed boundary line as well.
