Question 10555
Whether or not you can actually get help with something on Sunday night when you are "TOTALLY lost", it sounds like you waited too long to get help!! Next time, better ask SOONER!!

This graph will be the straight line y=3+x, but ONLY graph the LEFT half of the graph up to the y-axis. This straight line should have a y-intercept at (0,3) and a slope of 1. It should go right up to the y-axis, and the y-intercept should be an open circle.

The second half of the graph will be the right half of the parabola y=x^2+1, which has a y-intercept at (0,1) with a solid point, and then curve upward to the right side. The two halves of the graph do NOT connect.

If I knew more about graphing in this algebra.com system, I could probably graph it for you, but hey, . . . it's Sunday night for me too!!
