Question 915514
Your given two things in this problem; Distance (in miles) and Time (in hours)
If you remember, you can use the formula that includes both these quantities.

distance = rate(time) Plugging in the given you can solve for rate.
920 mi = rate(2 hrs) Solve for rate.
920 mi/2 hrs = rate    Simplify
460 mi/hr = rate This tells you that the plane can travel 460 miles for
                       every hour in fight.

To write a linear model that will predict the number of miles the plane can travel in a given interval of time,substitute the rate that was just solved for into the distance equation. This time use variable to represent distance (d) and time (t).

d=460t

Now if you are presented with a different time all you have to do is multiply the time by 460. This will give you the distance traveled.

If you are given a distance, then you can calculate the time traveled by dividing the "distance" given by 460. This will give you the time in hours.

Hope this helps. Please let me know how I did in helping you.
