Question 914339
If every side of a triangle is double then increase in area of the triangle is
Let side of triangle is 3 4 5 cm
s=3+4+5/2=12/2=6
area =sqrt{6(6-3)(6-4)(6-5)}
area of triangle =sqrt(6x3x2x1)=sqrt36=6
let new triangle side will 6 8 10
s=6+8+10/2=24/2=12
area =sqrt{12(12-6)(12-8)(12-10)}
sqrt (12x6x4x2)=24
from these result we can say area increased to 4 times if side are increased to double
we can conclude that if each side double area increased (2)^2=4 times

if each side triple than area will be 3^2=9 times
and so on if side increased n rimes than area will increased n^2 times
