Question 77148
Question The value of the nth term in a sequence is given by
the expression -5n + 2. What does the start of the sequence look like?
-----
If you assume the sequence is arithmetic you have:
5th term = a(1)+(5-1)d= -5n+2
You don't know a(1) and you don't know "d" so all you could
say is a(1) = -5n+2-4d
