Question 909082
Find the equation of a line that passes through the points (1/3,4/5) and -5/7,1/4). Put you final answer in standard form (Ax+By=C) and make sure there are no fractions or decimals in the answer and the x term is positive.
So far, I have figured out what the slope would be by using the
m=y2-y1/x2-x1, which gave me -11/20*21/22=21/40(slope)
then I tried using the point slope form and this is where my confusion came in at.
I had Y-4/5=21/40(x-1/3) THEN I subtracted the 4/5 from both sides and came up with Y=21/40x(-1/3+4/5).

Start with what you did correctly so far:
y-(4/5)=(21/40)(x-1/3)
lcd:40
40y-32=21x-7
21x-40y=-25
