Question 76898
<pre><font size = 4><b>
Hi I dont really understand what to do here.
(-5) to the 0 power multiplied by X to the -1 power

(-5)0x-1

Any number to the zero power is 1, so write (1) in place of
(-5)0.

Now you have

(1)x-1

Now use the rule that the -N power of any number is the
reciprocal of the number to the N power. So write
{{{1/x}}} in place of x-1

{{{(1)(1/x)}}}

or just

{{{1/x}}}
