Question 908613
Slope equals 2 and the line goes through the point (-1, 3)
y-3=2(x+1) point-slope format
You did not say what format the Answer was to use...
slope-intercept: y = 2x + 5 ****
0r
Standard Form???: 2x-y = -5
Could be part of Your not getting the right answer
NOt using the format asked for...

Re TY, Yes, always important to know what You are going after ...
The others done like the first, after finding slope: {{{m =(y[1] - y[2])/(x[1] - x[2] )}}}
(8,5) and
(9, 6) m = -1/-1 = 1,  {{{y-5=1(x-8)}}}, {{{y = x -3}}}
......
(-1, -7) and
(-8, -2)m = -5/7, {{{y + 7 = (-5/7)(x+1)}}}, {{{y = (-5/7)x - 40/7}}}
......
(1/2, 3/2) and
(-1/4, 5/4) m = (1/4)/(3/4) = 1/3, {{{y-3/2 = (1/3)(x-1/2)}}},  {{{y = (1/3)x + 8/6}}} 0r {{{y = (1/3)x + 4/3}}}
