Question 907431
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

You cannot solve an equation for a variable that does not exist in the equation. *[tex \Large Y] is NOT the same thing as *[tex \Large y].

In addition, *[tex \Large y\ =\ \pm\sqrt{16\ -\ x^2}] is already solved for *[tex \Large y].

In summary, I can't figure out what you want. Repost your question.

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi}\ +\ 1\ =\ 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
