Question 907266
Hi not sure how to put the answer to this inequality in interval notation.

{{{ ((x+2)/(x-9)) > 0 }}}

I got [-2, INF) but this is incorrect. Help would be greatly appreciated.
<pre>
Solving the inequality results in: {{{x > - 2}}}
Inequality is UNDEFINED at: {{{x = 9}}}
Therefore, critical points are: {{{- 2_and_9}}}
Test intervals: {{{x < - 2}}}; {{{- 2 < x < 9}}}; and {{{x > 9}}}
Thus, POSSIBLE test values are: {{{x = - 3}}}; {{{x = 0}}}; and {{{x = 10}}}
Any test value that's included in any of the above imtervals, and which makes the inequality TRUE will be your answer(s).
