Question 903135
Solve: 2^(x+3)=2^5
I've worked it to
LN(2^(x+3)) = LN(2^5)
x+3*LN(2)=5*LN(2)
x= 5LN(2)/3LN(2)   ************* NG
------------------------
x+3*LN(2)=5*LN(2)
Divide by ln(2)
x+3 = 5
x = 2
------------------
Even better:
2^(x+3)=2^5
Since it's the same base,
x+3 = 5
x = 2
