Question 891239
Given;
(1) (x^3+216)/(x+6)
Use long division to evaluate (1) and get
(2)(x^3+216)/(x+6) = x^2-6x+36
To check the division, which I can't do here, multiply
(3) (x+6)*(x^2-6x+36) to get
(4) x^3 + 216
If you don't know how to divide polynomials, please look it up. Or see if you can make sense of the following.

x + 6  | x^3 +  0   + 0 + 216  = x^2
     - ( x^3 + 6x^2 ) = -6x^2 + 0 + 216
x + 6  | -6x^2 + 0 + 216    = -6x
     - ( -6x^2 - 36x ) =  36x + 216
x + 6  | 36x + 216    = 36
     - ( 36x + 216) = 0
Answer: x^2 - 6x + 36
