Question 882618
I believe you used the "x" as a multiplication symbol and you tried to show, {{{18=3sqrt(10+2p)}}}, and wish to know how to solve for p. SQUARE BOTH SIDES.

{{{18/3=sqrt(2p+10)}}}
{{{sqrt(2p+10)=6}}}
{{{highlight_green(2p+10=36)}}}, squaring was done here.
{{{p+5=36/2}}}
{{{p+5=18}}}
{{{p=18-5}}}
{{{highlight(p=13)}}}
