Question 878563
The length of fencing is made into three sides. 30-2x and x are the dimensions of the garden. Letting x = one of the sides.

{{{x(30-2x)=100}}} gives the area equation of one dimension multiplied by the other dimension.

{{{-2x^2+30x=100}}}
{{{2x^2-30x=-50}}}
{{{x^2-15x+50=0}}}
{{{(x-5)(x-10)=0}}}
{{{x=5}}} or {{{x=10}}}

Other side is {{{30-2*5=20}}} or {{{30-2*10=10}}}.

Dimensions can be 5 by 20, or 10 by 10.
