Question 874311
How do I rewrite these two rational expressions with the given denominator??
6b/14a^2=_____/56a^4b^3
:
{{{6b/14a^2}}} = {{{n/56a^4b^3}}}
find n
to make the denominators equal, we have to multiply the 1st denominator by 4a^2b^3
any number over itself is one so we can:
{{{4a^2b^3/4a^2b^3}}} * {{{6b/14a^2}}} = {{{24a^2b^4/56a^4b^3}}}
Can be reduced but they don't say anything about that

and also this one
{{{(10d)/(5d-10)}}} = {{{n/(25d-50)}}}
Factoring makes it easy to see what we have to do
{{{(10d)/(5(d-2))}}} = {{{n/(25(d-2))}}}
Multiply by 5 to get the same denominator
{{{5/5}}}*{{{(10d)/(5(d-2))}}} = {{{(50d)/(25(d-2))}}}
