Question 869975
Can anyone explain to me why 3v/πh * 1/2 = √3v/πh (the square root of 3v/nh).
--------
If you mean
{{{(3v/(pi*h))^(1/2)}}}
The square root is by definition the 1/2 power.
If you multiply the sq root by itself, you get {{{(3v/(pi*h))}}}
If you square the sq root, you get {{{(3v/(pi*h))^(1/2*2)}}} = same thing.

PS  Use * for multiply
^ for exponents
