The given function, {{{y=log(5,(x-4))}}} can be stated in exponential form as {{{5^y=x-4}}} and then {{{highlight(x=4+5^y)}}}.  You can pick a few values of y and find the corresponding values of x, and then plot the points.  Best to choose convenient and simple values for y.  


Note also, that the inverse of the given function is {{{highlight_green(y=5^(x-4))}}}.
