Question 867073
No need for a model for this.

Show what you did and identifying the mistake can be done.

{{{4x+3=7}}}.
How do you undo everything which was done to x? Whatever you do, do the same to BOTH sides of the equation.
For this equation use these number properties:
(*) ADDITIVE Inverse of 3;
(*) Multiplicative inverse of {{{(1/4)}}}.
I am being technical and not doing the steps for a reason. Can <i>you</i> do the steps?

{{{7x-x=7}}}.
This one is a little different, but just like the way explained and prompted above, how do you undo what was done to x?
(*)  Distributive Property but in reverse, meaning factorize the left hand expression;
(*)  Simplify one of those left hand expressions;
(*) You should now have a constant multiplied by x. What is the multiplicative inverse of this constant?
