Question 865657
It all started one Halloween when Euclid and Pythagoras went out for pizza.
While they went out to pick up the pizza( they hadn't invented home delivery yet), some teenagers tp'd their homes.
It just so happens that Euclid taught geometry and Pythagoras taught algebra at the local high schools.
They discussed it and invented Euclidean geometry (graphing ) and Pythagorean theorem to get even with the teens. Ever since then, teens have had to suffer in math class with graphing and square roots. Square roots have two answers to make things more difficult and sometimes there are even extraneous roots which don't work.
