Question 863880
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Multiply the first equation by 2.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ -4x\ +\ 6y\ =\ 14]

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 4x\ -\ 6y\ =\ 8]

Add the two equations:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 0x\ +\ 0y\ =\ 22]

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 0\ =\ 22]

Which is absurd. No solution, i.e., the two equations graph to a pair of parallel lines. No intersection, no solution.

*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi}\ +\ 1\ =\ 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
