Question 852003
To know the perpendicular lines for this equation we need to find the equation y=mx+b where m is the slope and the perpendicular equation to it is it's negative reciprocal which is -1/m.

In y=4, m is 0 therefore its perpendicular is undefined.

In y=3x, m is 3 therefore its perpendicular is y=-1/3x

In x=4, it is not a slope equation so its undefined.

In y+2=3(x+7) we need to further simplify to get y,

y+2=3x+21
y=3x+29

m is 3 so the perpendicular is

y=-1/3x+29
