Question 70972
If you get all x terms to one side then you should get 2 solutions
{{{x^2+6x=0}}}Get all terms to one side
{{{x(x+6)=0}}}Factor out an x. Each factor is part of the solution, for instance if I divide both sides by x+6 then x=0. If I divide both sides by x, then I get x+6=0
{{{x=0}}}Solution 1
{{{x+6=0}}}
{{{x=-6}}}Solution 2
So the solutions are: x=-6 and x=0
Check
{{{0^2=-6*0}}}
{{{0=0}}}Solution works
Note: this response is similar to the previous answer but x=0 is also a solution.
