Question 834016
?{{{y-x^2 + 4x -6}}} ?

Assuming you really meant, {{{y=x^2+4x-6}}}, you want to Complete The Square and adjust to {{{y=a(x-h)^2+k}}} format. Thee term to both ADD and SUBTRACT on the right-side member is {{{(4/2)^2=4}}}. Doing this will allow you to obtain a portion of right-side expression which is a perfect square, and an added or subtracted constant term.

{{{y=x^2+4x+4-4-6}}}
{{{y=(x^2+4x+4)-4-6}}}
You finish the work.
