Question 70133
give me an example of multiplying a monomial by a polynomial?
I tried 2x(3x^2+4x-6)
--------
That's good. 2x is a monomial and 3x^2+4x-6 is a poolynomial.
---------
You multiply by "distributing" the multiplication.
you get: 2x(3x^2)+2x(4x)+2x(-6)
= 6x^3 + 8x^2 - 12x
