Question 829590
First find the slope of the line.
Use the formula {{{(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)}}}
So for the point (-3,4), x1=-3 and y1=4
For the point (2,-1) ,x2=2 and y2=-1
Substituting we get
{{{((-1)-(4))/((2)-(-3))}}}
{{{((-5))/((2)+3)}}}
{{{((-5))/(5)}}}
slope = m = -1
x length = |-3-2| = 5
y length = |4-(-1)| = 5
The other endpoint is to the left in this case.
The end point (xn,yn) = (-3-5,4+5)=(-8,9)
So (-8,9) is the other endpoint.
