Question 829313
{{{x+(1/3)=2(x-(2/3))-6x}}}
start by doing whats in the parenthesis.
{{{x+(1/3)=2x-(4/3)-6x}}}
combine like terms.
{{{x+(1/3)=-(4/3)-4x}}}
get the x's on one side and the thirds on one side.
{{{x+4x+(1/3)=-(4/3)-4x+4x}}}
{{{5x+(1/3)=-4/3}}}
{{{5x+(1/3)-(1/3)=-(4/3)-(1/3)}}}
{{{5x=-5/3}}}
divide by 5. Remember when you divide a fraction by a number, take the number and make it a reciprocal.
{{{5x/5=(-5/3)*(1/5)}}}
{{{x=-1/3}}}
