Question 829295
{{{(3p/5) - (1/6)}}}
The first step is to find the lowest common denominator.
5 and 6 can both go into 30. So you would multiply by a fraction of 1.
{{{(3p)/5}}} would multiplied by {{{6/6}}} which is {{{(18p)/30}}} this will give you a fraction equivalent to {{{(3p)/5}}} but will have a denominator of 30.
Now multiply {{{1/6}}} by {{{5/5}}}.
This would give you {{{5/30}}} which is equivalent to {{{1/6}}} but has a denominator of 30.
{{{(18p/30) - (5/30)}}}
now since they have the same denominator you can subtract them.
{{{(18p-5)/30}}}
This is simplified so this is the answer.
