Question 825052
If the students of class 5 can be made to stand in groups or lines of 10, 12, 15, & 16 the number of students in the class is a multiple of 10, 12, 15, & 16.
The least of those multiples is
{{{LCM(10,12,15,16)=highlight(240)=15*16=10*24=12*20}}} .
The way I calculated it was including all prime factors from the prime factorizations of 10, 12, 15, & 16:
{{{10=2*5}}}
{{{12=2^2*3}}}
{{{15=3*5}}}
{{{16=2^4}}}
{{{LCM(10,12,15,16)=2^4*3*5=(5*2)(2^3*3)=10*24=240}}}
