The first step would be to add 10 to post sides

notice the -10 and 10 make 0.  So now the -10 is gone from that side.

Now you want to add 2n to each side 
{{{8n+2n<-2n+2n+16}}}
Now the -2n and 2n make 0.
{{{10n<16}}}
divide each side by 10
{{{10n/10<16/10}}}
for {{{10n/10}}} the 10's cancel each other out, leaving you with just 1n or n.
{{{n<16/10}}}
simplify the fraction
{{{n<8/5}}}
What ever you want to move get rid of, you would do the opposite
