Hi,
how can you tell if this pair of equations are parallel, perpendicular, or neither?
put them both in standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line
y = mx + b  where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
 {{{y=green(-5/2)x+11}}}  m = -5/2
-5x+2y=20  0r  {{{y = green(5/2)x + 10}}}  m = 5/2
NEITHER parallel(slopes are not the same) 0r perpendicular (slopes are not negative reciprocals)
