I AM ASSUMING THAT x+2 IS THE HEIGHT OF BOX.  ???????????????????


Volume of Box(V) =Length*Width*Height  or

Volume of Box(V) = Area of Bottom*Height

We are told that:

{{{V=(x^2+5x+6)(x+5)}}}

{{{(x^2+5x+6)=(x+3)(x+2)}}}  so we have:

{{{V=(x+3)(x+2)(x+5)}}}

If the height was x+2,

Then the area of the bottom is {{{(x+3)(x+5)}}} or

AREA OF BOTTOM={{{x^2+8x+15}}}
