Question 813702

Negative four times b minus five plus two times b equals ten. I can't seem to get the steps leading to the answer; -7.5. Please help! I'm not very talented with math, as you can tell.

- 4b - 5 + 2b = 10

- 4b + 2b = 10 + 5

- 2b = 15

{{{b = 15/-2}}}, or {{{highlight_green(- 7.5)}}}

You can do the check!!
