Question 811158
Suppose y=5cos(5t+13)−4. In my answer i am suppose to answer with pi. what is the phase shift and horizontal shift
-------
Form:: y = a*cos(b(x-c)) + d
Your problem:
y = 5cos(5(t+(13/5))
a = 5
b = 5
c = -13/5
d = -4
-------------
phaseshift = c/b = -13/5 = -13/5
horizontal shift is phase shift.
