Question 9037
There is a rule for that with exponents. It's {{{ a^m*a^n = a^(m+n) }}}. If the bases are the same with different powers, the way to simplify it is to rewrite the base just once, and raise it to the sum of the powers.

In your case, {{{v^(1/3)*v^(2/5)}}} would equal {{{ v^(1/3 + 2/5) }}}. This problem then really turns into addition of fractions with different denominators. I trust that you know how to do that. The answer should be {{{ v^(11/15) }}}
