Question 68546
how do i solve this for graphing
7(x-3)>5x-14
--------------
7x-21 > 5x-14
subtract 5x from both sides; add 21 to both sides, to get:
2x>7
Divide both sides by 2 to get:
x>7/2
----------------
Draw a number line.
Pick a point and label it "7/2"
Darken all the points to the right of 7/2
Draw a circle around the point you labeled 7/2.
The darkened points are the graph you want.
