Question 68220
(x+3)(2x-5) and (x+5)(x+4) I'm studying Algebra II and was never taught this. Tank You.

There's a crutch for multiplying these. Example (x-5)(4x+3)
F-----------first (4x^2)
O-----------outer (3x)
I-----------inner (-20x)
L-----------last (-15)

(x+3)(2x-5)----2x^2-5x+6x-15=2x^2+x-15

(x+5)(x+4)------x^2+4x+5x+20=x^2+9x+20

Hope this helps----ptaylor
