Question 801887
 to use a six-step procedure to graph a rational function but I am not sure how to start the problem because the first step is to factor and I am not sure how to do it with this problem. I have to sketch f(x)=x/1-x^2 If you could just help me find the vertical asymptotes I could figure out the rest.
--------
VA's occur where the denominator is zero and the numberator is not.
----
Solve:: 1-x^2 = 0
(1-x)(1+x) = 0
x = 1 or x = -1
-----
Your VA's are at x = -1 and at x = 1.
