Do you mean *[tex \Large \frac{4t\ -\ 5}{-9}\ =\ 7] or *[tex \Large 4t\ -\ \frac{5}{-9}\ =\ 7]?


First way:  Multiply both sides by -9, add 5 to both sides, multiply both sides by *[tex \Large \frac{1}{4}]


Second way:  Multiply both sides by -9, add 5 to both sides, multiply both sides by *[tex \Large \frac{1}{-36}]
